His: The way the story start is really good & funny but there are parts of the movie that went a little dry (not a fan of musical movies). Moana is not like the usual animated movies that I have seen lately. It's a little deep compared to the previous animated movies this year. You can tell by the audience, they are so silent. I don't know if they got bored or just so focus that they went timid.
Overall, it was a good movie. There are are lots of lessons to be learned for the young audiences. I don't recommend it for people who are looking for a really funny genres. Again, it's quite deep, a little funny and has a valuable lesson at the end. I'm not saying others don't have valuable lessons, it's just that this is the more focus of this movie.
Her: "It calls me... it calls me and no one knows..." These are the lines that keeps on playing on my mind and I kept on singing after I have watched this movie. I am also not really a fan of musical but this one is really cute and as what he said above, it has a lot of lessons to be learned. One of the selling point of this movie is indeed its music, it just makes you forget your age and just enjoy it. The animation is also superb, it looks so good on the screen and you don't want to even get up and pee(but of course if you need to, please do!!).
There was no dull moments on this movie. I must admit, animated movies like this just brings genuine joy within me. So if you want to enjoy, be happy and missing the sand/beach, you should watch this. Just a warning though, you will keep singing after watching it(not a bad thing for us because we are chosen by music HAHAHA, you'll get the chosen thing when your done watching).
My conclusion/lesson? Follow what your hearts desire! There will be stumbling blocks, hurdle, setback but continue anyway. And NEVER EVER DOUBT YOURSELF! Go and explore!
